OUR SERVICES:

Providing information on self-employment in Austria

We provide information on self-employment in Austria in the form of free content accessible on the platform. All articles are written by qualified professionals. Through the platform, you can also access our guidebooks in electronic and paperback versions, those products you can buy through a trusted external platform www.payhip.com.


Creating transparent profiles

You can apply to be listed on the platform as a self-employed individual in Austria. First, we check your registration and verify other data about your professional activity that you provide in the online application form, and we make sure to create a nice and transparent profile for you and your potential clients, so they can easily learn about your skills, experience and qualifications. The listing consists of 3 different plans and sets of benefits, it is explained in detail below, together with the process of application.


Promotion and exposure of you as a self-employed in Austria

Everyone who joins our Network by being listed on our Platform gets a certain amount of new exposure and has a possibility of getting promoted in dedicated articles on the Platform.

When it comes to promotion, the listing plans give access and the right to different types of self-promotion in the community.


Networking and access to the Community

We want, self-employed individuals in Austria to be able to easily contact and communicate with other self-employed people in order to learn from each other's experiences and exchange jobs. For this reason, through the Platform, you can access our Facebook, Linkedin and Slack community.


Sale of electronic and physical products

Every now and then we release new guidebooks on different categories of self-employment in Austria written by professionals. The sale takes place mostly through the external platform: Payhip.com.



1. YOUR LISTING AS A SELF-EMPLOYED INDIVIDUAL IN AUSTRIA

Application process overview

After you've completed the payment for your 1-year member package or your monthly subscription you can apply for a professional profile through our online form (https://self-employed.at/application), using accurate information. Provide your current contact information and all the required information in the online form.

We verify the information about your self-employment that you have provided in the online form.

If your profile is approved or declined we inform you via email at the email address you provided.

After the payment have been processed and the application form submitted, we create your professional profile and add you as a member of SEA.

The profile is created within the following 3 business days. The next step is, you receive the link to the profile and verify if all the information is accurate. The profile is then created and connected to the online listing - https://self-employed.at/browse-professionals .

Duration:

Reviewing your application and creating your professional profile may take up to 3 business days from the moment of receiving the payment and the application.


Payment process

The full information on the 1-year package and the monthly subscription you can find under www.self-employed.at/listing. After you’ve chosen the product that suits you should select it and proceed to payment in our Payhip Shop - www.payhip.com/seaservices. Payhip is an external platform that we use for selling our Products and Services, it’s 100% safe and professional.

Payhip payment - how does it work?

Payhip informs us immediately once the payment has been processed. When agreeing to these terms and conditions and our privacy policy you agree that when choosing the monthly subscription your payment will be recurring every month on the same day.

You can cancel the subscription at any moment, to do so go to the point “ending the subscription” below. Once you completed the payment process and got your confirmation per email you may proceed to the online application. Confirmation per email from Payhip you will get immediately, and confirmation from us SEA - Services for self-employed you will get within the next 48h per email, together with the electronic invoice.

Buying the 1-year member package does not equal recurring payment every year, this is just a one-time transaction that you repeat by yourself manually if you wish. Buying this product does not need creating an account on Payhip, you can complete the transaction as a guest, 


Application process

Through the online form on https://self-employed.at/application you provide us with accurate information on you and your business such as: business registration date, business name, services you offer as a self-employed person, your full name profession/ the category you want to be listed under, education, skills (optional), social accounts related to your self-employment /business, your email address, contact information for your customers such as phone number, or email address, the location where you provide your services (online-globally is an option too), languages in which you provide your services.

Rules of applying

All information should be accurate and provided in English. Your business must be registered in Austria. Your business /self-employment must be officially running. You must be at least 18 years old If your business is no longer running you must notify us immediately, your profile will be removed and your subscription cancelled .

Your consent to use the data you provide in the online application

When checking the box in the online form https://self-employed.at/application you understand that a wide public has access to the data that will be included in your professional profile and that SEA Services for self-employed has no control or responsibility for what the audience uses your information. Since the information is public, anyone can view and use the information provided on the platform. By checking the box in the online application form you agree to and understand those conditions.


Screening and decision

Approval

If you provided all the necessary and accurate information you will be accepted and informed by email with a unique code for you to use for activation of your profile, your future updates and changes in the profile.


Decline

Normally the decline of the application will happen in cases when the information provided by the applicant is not accurate or the business is not registered in Austria. In special cases, however, we reserve the right to decline the application without any reason. In such a case the payment will be immediately returned to the applicant. In every case of decline, your data will be removed from all our servers and devices, we do not store your information after the denial in any possible way. The payment will go back to the card you used during the payment process on Payhip, within the following 2 weeks.


Final approval

After the creation of your profile, we will contact you by email and send you an image of your profile so you can review all the information. After the approval and confirmation from your side per email, we will publish it and connected it to the whole listing. You will receive another email with the link to your professional online profile.


Changes, updates of the data and removal of the profile

In the case of changes /updates in the information and removal request for your profile write us an email at listing@self-employed.at . You can also request cancelling your subscription - we can do it for you immediately. For each of the changes or removals, please use the profile CODE you received per email when we created the account for you. To remove your subscription by yourself go to www.payhip.com/seaservices, select the plan you are subscribed to and log into your account. There you will see all your information and the billing history. To cancel the subscription select DELETE ACCOUNT at the bottom of the “Your account “ tab.

In the case of a 1-year member package, no cancellation of the subscription is necessary - the 1-year member package is not a subscription but a regular one-time transaction.


Ending the monthly subscription - Payhip

You can ask us to send your subscriptions and we will do it for you - just contact us at listing@self-employed.at , and provide us with your CODE. You can also do it by yourself: go to www.payhip.com/seaservices, select the plan you subscribed to and log into your account. There you will see all your information and the billing history. To cancel the subscription select DELETE ACCOUNT at the bottom of the “Your account “ tab. After ending the subscription through Payhip you will receive a confirmation email from Payhip. Please note that you will no longer be able to login to your subscription account since the account has been deleted. In any case, you will also receive a confirmation email from SEA. In case of any problem just contact us at listing@self-employed.at or hi@self-employed.at.

1-year Member Package:

79.9€/year (you save 14.9€)


This package includes:

  • Access to a free guidebook, exclusive articles, videos and events. As a member, you will get free access to one of our guidebooks on self-employment in Austria as well as exclusive articles and videos that we create every month! We also organise online events on topics related to self-employment that you can join free of charge. All the updates on events and all the exclusive materials will be regularly sent to the email address that you provided in the online application form. We will send you 1-5 exclusive articles or videos per month. You may choose one of our guidebooks in the electronic or paperback form and we will send you 100% discount coupons - the guidebook will cost you nothing. In case of sending a package, we cover the costs of delivery.   • Your professional profile, or a page for your business (according to point 1 in the Terms of Service). Examples: BROWSE PROFILES, BUSINESS PAGE. The profile is created after you've provided us with all the necessary information about you and your business. Changing information or removing the profile/page is possible for you at any point. 

  • Self-promotion in the community. You can publish two posts per month related to your self-employment/ business and the services you offer in our Facebook group, in the group on Linkedin or in our Slack workspace. The post must fulfil the requirements in the group rules (in English, kind...)

  • Updates on changing laws and rates. Laws and rates of self-employment change from time to time, but you will be informed by the important changes related to your self-employment category and self-employment in general. When registering as a member of SEA you are automatically agreeing to receive updates on self-employment in Austria by email. At any moment you have a possibility of unsubscribing from receiving such updates, to do so just contact us at hi@self-employed.at, or select this option directly in the content of the email.

  • Discounts. Discounts for professional business consulting with Mag Miglena Hofer and Mag Severina Ditzov (15%- 1 time) and Bookamat accounting software (30% - from the first annual plan).

  • An article about you and your business. Are you interested to share your tips on self-employment in Austria, organisation, or the history of your business? Examples: https://self-employed.at/stories. Members of SEA can apply at hi@self-employed.at!  The article will be published on the Platform and promoted in the community and on SEA's social media channels


Member package - monthly subscription:

7.9€/month 

The monthly subscription plan includes the same benefits as the 1-year package except for access to free guidebooks.

Fees and taxes 

You are responsible for paying the listing fees of your chosen plan. We do not charge VAT. The profile page is activated only after we’ve received a monthly on yearly payment in advance (more in the point “Choice of the plan, and payment process” above)


Refunds

If you wish to receive the money-back just write us an email to hi@self-employed.at and let us know why you request the refund. The refund will be issued only if the request was done within 7 days from the beginning of the subscription/after buying the 1-year member package.



2. PROMOTION AND EXPOSURE ON THE PLATFORM

 The articles and pages about your business are created with your assistance and we will always ask for your approval per email, before publishing. The same comes to promotion on our social media channels. You may always request the removal of such an article/page, post and it will take effect immediately. If you cooperate with SEA as a writer or expert that is featured on the platform you may always request a withdrawal of such promotion and articles and it will take effect immediately. To request any of the above just contact us at hi@self-employed.at or listing@self-employed.at and provide your profile CODE.



3. SALE OF ELECTRONIC AND PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

SEA - Services for self-employed engages in providing services and selling goods such as electronic and physical guidebooks. Our online shop is located on the external platform Payhip.com. Our shop --- www.payhip.com/seaservices. The payment process takes place on Payhip and the PAyhip provides you with the electronic products as well as invoices. When it comes to physical products, it’s SEA that packs and sends those. Right after sending the package, we send you an invoice and a tracking number per email. Payhip is responsible for any technical issues during the payment process, as well as Stripe Payment and Paypal, but we assist you with solving any issue. In case of any problem with payment or your package just contact us at hi@self-employed.at and we wilL take care of your problem immediately. We are happy to inform you that so far there have been 0 cases of a failed payment, a technical issue with a payment, downloading an ebook or a package. All the partner platforms cooperate with us smoothly and without issues.

Refund

In the case of physical products, we accept returns within 7 days from the purchase date, we do not, however, accept refunds for ebooks because those cannot be returned. In case of any problem that is on our side, we declare to resolve the issue or offer you discount coupons if you can prove that the product hasn't met your needs. So far we have 0 requests for refunds,
